Join us on the patio for this week's Summer Music Series Concert featuring local singer-songwriter Rachel Hickey.

In 2021 Hickey released her first EP Getting By - a collection of intimate, heartbreak-inspired folk-rock songs she wrote after graduating in the midst of a pandemic and spending time at home to teach herself guitar and develop her sound as a solo artist.

This year, Hickey has been gaining a reputation as an artist locally, releasing her second EP, So Long, this July in collaboration with Kitchener producer Brandon Fehderau and artists including Marshall Veroni, featured on her latest single, Home. Her feeling-packed indie/folk sound balances vulnerability and strength, using story-telling and descriptive imagery to captivate listeners.
