On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, Ontario’s vaccine certificate system will take effect, which requires individuals to present proof of vaccination for access to non-essential businesses and settings.
As TWB is considered a non-essential business, here's what that means for when you come to visit us:
When does this go into effect?
Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at midnight
Who does this apply to?
Any patrons who wish to be seated and enjoy a beverage indoors.
What do I need to show that I am fully vaccinated?
1. Physical or digital vaccination receipt
2. Government issued photo ID
Why?
This is a government-mandated requirement for non-essential businesses. These mandatory requirements do not apply to outdoor settings, such as patios, where the risk of transmission is lower.
What does "fully vaccinated" mean?
It means that 14 days or more have passed since receiving the second dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.
Are masks still mandatory?
Yes, masks must be worn inside and on the patio, except when seated at your table.
How does this affect Craftoberfest?
As Craftoberfest takes place on our outdoor patio only, we will not require that attendees show proof of vaccination; however, spacing, capacity, and masking restrictions will be strictly adhered to throughout all Craftoberfest events and our staff will be following thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols.
Please note: we are not collecting or recording anyone's vaccination information.
Thanks for this clear statement of the requirements. It's necessary.
